Google’s global training platform, Grow with Google, has supported millions of people in helping them find a job, grow their career or build their business.
Approach
Grow with Google is a global initiative that offers free skills training to the public, both online and in-person. As an embedded designer within Google’s global tools team, I had the opportunity to support the UK’s program – leading public workshops and documenting the community and event experience.
Throughout 2019, I traveled to different cities across the UK and led design workshops. The workshops focused on the UX process, including user research, interviews and rapid prototyping.
Impact
Each workshop was filled to capacity and the feedback from attendees was overwhelming positive.
Insights from the experience were integrated into Grow with Google program as well as the global strategy for event management.
